Display in Web Mercator

I am trying to publish a web application in HTML5, and my first basemap added to the application is served in a Web Mercator projection. This works fine in the ESRI Flex app, as the grids are square, and the remaining layers which are lat/long work well, but in the HTML5 app, it defaults the whole to lat/long, making the basemap grids wrong, how can I ensure this is changed.

 

As always the area we are working in is on a UTM grid zone junction, so I do not want to publish this in a UTM projection, the geocortex manager will not accept the Web Mercator projection WKID: 3857 code.

 

Any help appreciated.

  Hi Dilip, 

   

  When you create a site, the spatial projection of the last layer in the Map Services Tab (in Essentials Manager > Site > Map) will be used. Typically this is a basemap as they are often used as a backdrop to provide context. If you are using an Esri basemap, then it will more than likely be in Web Mercator. If you do not want to use this projection for your viewer, then you need to reorder your layers in the Map Services Tab so that another layer is located at the bottom of the list.
