feature hyperlink & replaced by &

I am trying to use a url-containing field in my data as a feature hyperlink.  So in the feature hyperlinks tab for the URI I put the name of the field: {DWS_WEB_URL}.  The url string includes an &.  When you click on the hyperlink in the Hyperlinks section of the id results the "&" in my string has been automatically changed to "&", which causes the hyperlink to not work. 

 

For example it changes this:

 

P_RO_SEQ_NO26=155080&P_0=134780&Z_CHK=46188

 

to this:

 

P_RO_SEQ_NO26=155080&P_0=134780&Z_CHK=46188

 

Is there any way to stop the & from being changed to &?  I can include the url as an attribute in the id results and it works, but I would like to include it as a feature hyperlink that shows up at the top of the id results.
