Invalid Object Passed In?

I have a workflow that performs a QueryTask with Geometry input, then a SelectFeatures.  It actually seems to work.  I get the result I expect, except it comes along with this error message:

 

 

I can't figure out what any of that even means.. Anyone?

  Comes the error from the query task of from the Select Features? What if you comment out the Select Features?

   

  Do you not get the error without a geometry input? What if you do a simplify on the geometry before?

   

  Perhaps the issue is related to a specific field, limit the Out Fields to some fields and extend the list.
