Is there a way to hid the banner bar but to keep the global search on transparent media (attached)?

 

I have a workflow that hide the banner, I would like to hide the banner but keep the global search box, or otherwise, to remove the banner and only have the global search box?

 

 

Any Ideas?

  Hi Majdoleen,

   

  I don't think that it's possible to do this unfortunately.  One alternative that might work is to use a workflow to perform a search operation.  Here's a quick example that may help:

   

  http://data.latitudegeo.com/support/danny/Global_Search.xaml

  You can put the search box in another container. We put it it in the 'map' container, top left. That way if the banner is off, as in all of our sites, you still have acces to search as before. It takes a little editing in the code of the site but not much.
