Cursor focus not staying in global search box
Is anyone else having this issue and anyone know how to fix it. When user clicks inside the global search box and then moves the mouse but does not click out, the cursor is still flashing inside the global search, but the keyboard numbers are acting the way that they do when clicked outside of the global search - panning the map - instead of typing numbers. It's drving my users crazy! Anyone know how to keep the focus inside the global search text box until CLICKED out?
Thanks!

We have this issue, too. It is intermittent for us. Usually just clicking in the Global Search box again rectifies the issue. Only the keypad numbers with the arrows move the map, all other numbers get entered in the Global Search normally.

Shana,
I think the panning and zooming is based on the mouse pointer. Which means, whereever if the mouse pointer is over the map, the arrow keys will act as moving the map regardless of where is the keyboard cursor flashing.

Hi folks,
This is an issue with Esri's map control. You can see it behave similarly in (https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/3/samples/ed_attribute_inspector/) this sample . In the 2.8 viewer, we'll be adding the ability to disable in configuration as a workaround (GVH-12200).0 -
Has this been made into a configuration item yet? If so, where can I locate it?
Thank you,

Hello Tony,
Yes, this has been added! You'll find information about the 'disableMapKeyboardNavigation' field on our documentation center, via the Map Module page: https://docs.geocortex.com/essentials/gvh/2.10/admin-help/Default.htm#gvh/admin/modules/map-module.htm.
I hope this helps,
