ArcGIS Server 10.5 (Enterprise) Compatability

I listened to the last Webinar, but was wondering if Server 10.5, now out, is backward compatible to earlier version of GE and Analytics? Any Issues???

  Hi Jeffrey,

   

  We tested ArcGIS 10.5 extensively with Essentials 4.6.3 (including HTML5 viewer 2.7.2) and Analytics 1.2 and found no issues there. We also haven't made any changes in these products that would impact our compatibility with ArcGIS 10.5 at any point in the Essentials 4.6 and HTML5 viewer 2.7 branch, so we're confident that ArcGIS 10.5 is entirely compatible with all of the Essentials 4.6 and viewer 2.7 releases. The same can be said for Analytics 1.1 and Insight 1.0.

   

  With older versions of Essentials, there aren't any changes to functions' signatures in Esri's REST API that would impact earlier versions, nor any other dramatic changes in functionality, so we have no reason to expect that there would be any issues with ArcGIS 10.5. But, as we haven't tested the older versions, we can't say for sure.
