Type of SSL needed
One of the goals we are working on in 2017 is establishing SSL mostly so that our users can utilize the Geolocation tools (Find Me, Track Me and Follow Me). If I understand correctly Chrome and iOS both require SSL for this to work in their browsers.
I'm working with our IT folks on this and they are asking if we need a Multi Domain or Single Domain certificate, and I'm hoping someone can help me answer their question.
Here is a brief description of our setup:
ArcGIS Server: Hosts our data and cache tiles
Web Server: WebAdaptor, Geocortex components, IIS
I would appreciate any information anyone has to offer, if you need more information on our setup please let me know.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,
The important thing to remember here, is that you will need SSL for your Essentials server, as well as your ArcGIS server. With that in mind, single domain should be OK, but you may find yourself needed 2 certificates in that case (one for arcgisserver.yourdomain.com, and one for geocortex.yourdomain.com).
You may find it easier to get a wildcard certificate (which are more expensive, but can be reused for other servers as well). A wildcard certificate would apply to *.yourdomain.com, and can be used for as many servers as you want!
I hope this helps!
Thanks,

Here's a good primer on the differences:
