Is anyone experiencing any Textbox issues in the Microsoft Edge Browser
I am using GE 4.5.1 with HTML 2.6.1. I am hoping to update to 4.6 soon or 4.7 when that becomes available.

But currently I am experiencing a couple issues in the Microsoft Edge Browser.
1) The first being when a user tries to print a map and input text into a multiline textbox, the letters get written backwards. As an example, if you open this site in Edge (https://gis.miottawa.org/ottawa/geocortex/propertymapping) go to print and enter any information in either the 'Map Title' or 'Comments' textbox, they will be written backwards:

If set the field so that it is not multi line, the text prints out fine.
2) When trying to enter information in a display form text box in a workflow that has a required value. I get an error stating that I need to enter information when it has already been entered:

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Hi Marshall - The backward text issue in Edge is an Edge-specific bug that has been resolved. I'm looking for it in the issue tracking system to let you know what version it was found and fixed in. Sometimes we have to add IE specific code into the HTML5 viewer to deal with older versions of IE and in this case when Edge came out some of that IE specific code worked in a quite a different way inside the Edge browser. I'll post here when I find the issue. 0 -
I can confirm this is resolved in GVH 2.7.1 0 -
I haven't noticed the backwards text, but we are experiencing the required value error message when the user has in fact entered a value. Is this validation bug also fixed in GVH 2.7.1? 0 -
I forgot to mention that we are using Internet Explorer 11. 0 -
I found this post...

I set "automaticElementFocusing": false in the desktop.json.js file as described in the post and it seems to be working.0 -
Great info Stephanie! I was just looking into that issue, so thanks for adding it to this post. 0
