Why is the Plot Coordinate context tool disabled?

The Plot Coordinate tool is displayed in the Map Context Menu, but it is disabled.  What do I need to do to have it enabled?

  Hi Sean,

   

  It's hard to say without taking a look at your site and/or config, but my guess is that it might have something to do with the coordinate systems for the viewer.  I would start by taking a look at wha's configured under Viewer > Map.  If the viewer can't find coordinate systems to plot with, the conext tool will be greyed out.

  It was, indeed, a missing configuration for the coordinate system in the Map settings.
