Buffer is Successful but Error is Thrown

I can create buffers after an element has been selected, but everytime I buffer I get this error

 

Why does this error appear after the buffer operation is successful?

  Hi Walter,

  Another option to try would be disabling all but one or two layers.  If one layer in particalur is causing the error (rather than the geometry service for the buffer, which sounds like it is working) you may be able to find it through trial and error that way.
