  I don't have a complete example for you, but you can get this information using the "Get Current User" workflow activity.  It will give you both the username and Windows account name for the current user.

  You can find it under "Common Server" activities in Essentials Workflow Designer 4.2+.

   

  I'm not sure if it is avaiable with earlier versions of Essentials or not.

  thanks alot peter i found it under "Common Server" could you please help me how to make this workflow Unfortunately i try with no effect
