How to call a custom module from the toolbar

I have a custom module that was originally configured and used in a region for a custom form that perfoms different functions when buttons are pressed. We now would like to move some of the buttons from the custom form to the toolbar.  So I have the working code that needs to be launched, I just need and example of how to tie that into a toolbar button.

  Hi Dan,

   

  Toolbar buttons will execute a viewer command when clicked.  The command may also have a parameter.

   

  So, if your custom module exposes viewer commands, you just need to add a button that runs your command.  If you don't know what the name(s) of hte commands are, or aren't sure if the custom module uses a viewer command to run, please contact whoever developed the custom module, or open a case with Support with your code to have us investigate.
