Load time/performance tuning - legend?f=json
Going through the best practices for improving load times - it's a giant site, never going to be super fast but want to improve where we can.
Using the support artice here:

Looking in the dev tools, there are 2 entries that i'm interested in - both show 3.6 seconds to load - the header request URL is the REST Url to basemap services we have, with "/legend/?f=json" tacked on at the end. Not exactly sure what this is, but I know we have excluded all layers in our basemaps at the service level in GE, and they are not supposed to (and don't in the map) show up in the legend.
Any wiser person know what this is?
(using GE 4.6.2 and GVH 2.7.1)
Thanks -
Allen

Allen, all of my services has that call, but only one is taking any time. I had removed all of the layers already, and I had overwritten the Minimum Scale, so it wasn't even loading at open. I looked at the service, and it was made up of 45 Tiff images. Since my cache was already made, I removed those and replaced with a single layer of the county. I then re-published, keeping the existing cache. This service is now as fast as my others. 0
