Layers moved outside Layer List folder do not appear

When I Add a Map Service which contains two layers and drag one of those layers outside of the folder in the Layer List, it does not display them in the map.  They are diplayed correctly in the map preview in Manager but when I open the site they show up in the Information Panel but do not display in the map.  When I move the layer back into the original folder, it will display again.  I hope my explanation makes sense.

 

How can I add a map service that contains several layers and move those layers around individually in the layer list and get them to display in the site map?

  Hi,

   

  Is this issue still outstanding? You should be able to modify the layer list and have the layers draw. If you are still having issues with layers drawing after customizing the layer list then I'd suggest opening a Support Ticket.

  I recently upgrade to AGS 10.5 and it fixed this issue.  Could have been a problem with the old version of Server.
