Add Layers tool not working for secured map service?

Hello,

 

We're having a problem to allow user search and add secured map service in HTML5 viewer.  Currently use Add Layers tool, I could search and map services with either http and https URLs, given the map service is unsecured. 2nd, I added a service connection in Geocortex Admin site with https URL, after that I was able to search the layer in Add Layers tool too. finally, if I secure the map service with token based security (followed by provide the token URL username and password in the service connection in site admin , I was not able to search the layer by neither name or URL in the Add Layers Tool. Any suggestion would be welcome. thank you.

  Hi,

   

  Due to security concerns secured services cannot be added to the site via the add layer tool. A workaround would be to use the layer catalog functionality.
