Our organization is looking for an overall asset management system that would track maintenance and costs associated with features as well as projecting long term maintenance/replacement requirements. Are those things out of the scope of CityWorks? Everything I'm reading seems to focus on collecrion of field data in the form of work orders for maintenance events. 0 -
Hi Rebecca,
Those things are well handled by Citywoks. In doing my research with Cityworks customers some of the most valuable things they got from their Cityworks implementations was around the overall cost reporting roll-ups and budgeting reports and the algorithms that help you correctly schedule which assets need work and what it will cost. The Cityworks capabilities are significant; our extension which communicates with the Cityworks platform focuses more specifically on creating simple, targeted interfaces for the Cityworks platform. Field crews are a common example, dedicated office teams (such as call takers) are another example. I'm happy to put you in touch with someone as Cityworks who can explain more about what Cityworks itself can do around your use examples.0
