Hyperlinked documents in Expanded View

Using GE 4.5.1 and HTML5 Viewer 2.6.1. Currently my data link table has, among others, fields for a description and an associated pathname hyperlink to a document. This works but is visually ugly! See the example image:

 

 

I'd like to turn the Description field value into the hyperlink and hide the PathName field from the user's view. Is this even possible? If so, can someone share how to do it? Thanks in advance!

  Hi Brian,

   

  The HTML5 viewer won't render HTML that comes from feature or table fields.  Unfortunately that means it won't be possible to create nicely formatted links for the Expanded view..  That's something we would be able to do in the feature description in most cases, but for a one to many data link relationship, there aren't any good workarounds.  If you'd like to see more configuration added thatw ould let you achieve something like this, I would recommend posting to the Ideas section (https://support.geocortex.com/GSCIdeas?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&filter=1&categ=all&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials&page=1) .

  Displaying image thumbnails over a URL that is .jpg or .png would be awesome too.
