Annotations supported?

We have our transmission pipes stationing info marked as "hatches". Since hatch lines are not supported in a map service, i converted stationing layer to Annotations feature class. This feature class is published and used in an existing site, but annotation won't show at all in Silverlight or HTML5 viewer? What am i doing wrong? Thanks.

  Hi Naresh,

   

  Annotation layers are supported, but not natively.  If there is one annotation class, then Essentials will treat it as an image layer.  If there are multiple classes then Essentials will treat it as a group layer.

   

  As such I don't think you are doing anything wrong, we may not have handled the case where a hatched linear referenced layer is converted to annotation.  Are you able to share a public map service with this type of layer, or perhaps send a layer package or map package to us for testing?
