    Adding the feature service into proxy.config solves the issue

    "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\q\proxy.config"

    <serverUrl url="http://localhost:6080/arcgis/rest/services/g1/ FeatureServer /0"

                    matchAll="true"></serverUrl>

    Thanks!  That worked!  However, your "q" folder is HTML5Viewer for me, not sure why yours is q?  Anyhow, the proxy.config was full of sample servers and demos, I was suspicious but just added my feature service to the list and got it!

    As you add a template, you can change its name to whatever you want (in my case: it is q)

    I hope that the “add attachment” issue will be controlled at the level of Manager without the need to play with the proxy.config file

    Jamal,

    I got the same error message, and following your workaround but it's not fixes for me.  However, our services are all secured (https://myserver/arcgis/rest/services).  Any advised?

    I very appreaciate for your help.

    Have you tried to stick the editable service link:

    <serverUrl url="http://localhost:6080/arcgis/rest/services/g1/FeatureServer/0"

                    matchAll="true"></serverUrl>

    into:

    "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\q\proxy.config"

    do you mean that this approach is not working in case of https?

    That's correct Jamal.  Not sure how to do with https.

    Hi Jenni,

    Not sure if this is the problem but the default port for https:// arcgis server is 6443

    you can also try temporarily opening the proxy up by setting the mustMatch="false". This will let all requests go through the proxy, but setting this as a test can let you know if the problem is with the proxy settings or not.

    Dear Jenni Hoang,

    I tried Jamal's solution and it works fine with me when using secured service (https). Attached

    Please let me know if you have any inquiries.

    you don't need to add the feature service link, you can only add the arcgis server link as follow "http://localhost:6080/arcgis/rest/services", so it will be working for any other feature services.

    Best,
