Portal for ArcGIS Symbology.

I've created a feature layer in Portal for ArcGIS through ArcMap.Then I changed the symbology in Portal and create a new feature layer, however when I add it to Geocortex Essentials it shows the original symbology from that was created in ArcMap.  Are you not able to create a new feature layer in Portal and share it through GE to see the new symbology?  We have a feature class that needs to be symbolized based on 10 different fields, with each field being symboloized through different values (ie Field Silver, values 1-10 as different colours).  Any help would be appreciated.

  Hi Sonya,

   

  We've been in contact so I'm just posting this in case any other users run into the same problem in the future.

   

  Essentials reads symbology from a layer's REST endpoint.  Changing your symbology using tools in ArcGIS Online or Portal will not affect your layer in Essentials unless it updates the "Drawing Info" property on the layer's REST endpoint.
