it was something along the lines of the API doesn't support it yet, I believe. I'm definitely interested in this functionality too

The new Java API 4, or something like that from ESRI?  It is limited, but may get you by in the interim - I made a site up of only dynamic services for folks who just have to print at any scale.  No aerials, but often they are just doing locationals and parcels alone are fine.

    Hi Alaa,

This is a limitation of Esri's 3.X JavaScript API. I've provided a more comprehensive explanation in (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCIdeasDetail?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&id=087600000004N51AAE&categ=&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials) this idea .

We do understand this as admins. However, our users\clients who are coming from the school of GVS don’t.

It is visible in the user interface. In GVS you can enter a scale. In GVH you can only select a scale.

    HI Nico.

In gvh, you can only select from the cached scales. In gvs, you are free and can choose ANY scale of your preference even if it is NOT within the cached scales.

    Hi All,

    Thanks for your replies

According to my findings, the zooming on ArcGIS web app builder is not limited to the cached scales!

    Please check the screenshot below.
