5x Table Relate - Map Service vs Feature Service

Due to a massive amount of data associated with a particular data set, I have published a feature service with 5x related tables. 

 

I was successful in loading the map service into Essentials and all related data appears when an identify occurs in the viewer. 

 

Unfortunately, when I attempt to load the feature service with the same related tables, Essentials will NOT allow me to add the service to the site and the "Add to Map" button does not activate.

We've recently upgraded GE to 4.7 and GVH to 2.8.

 

Is this a limitation in Essentials? It can handle the map service, but not the feature service.

  Hi Walter,

   

  This is working as expected, tables or feature layers from feature service can only be added once at a time. See excerpt below from the GE Administrative guide.

   

  According to the developers this is implemented this way for performance reasons, adding multiple feature layers at once could lead to a slow unusable application. There's an improvement filed for this, GE-6442, and i've added you as stakeholder.
