Query String but Switched to Date

Hi everyone,

 

I am using Geocortex 4.5.1 (Viewer 2.6.1).

 

I am trying to query a String field using the out of the box Query tool from the viewer. For some reason, as soon as I select one record from the dropdown list, and click Search button, the complete query switched to Date type instead of String

 

for example, I am trying to query

 

UNIT_KEY_ID = '0928001A'

 

after complete, and clicked Search, the query switched to

 

UNIT_KEY_ID = 01/01/0928

 

And the result is empty which is wrong.

 

Any idea why? Is this an issue at the geocortex site configuration, arcgis map service or database?

  I start to think there is a bug with Geocortex. That when I query a string that contains 7 digits, the query consider it to be a date field. I wonder if there is a workaround?

  Hello Dori,

   

  Yes, this one is a bug.  It was originally reported as "8-Digit Numbers entered into the Filter tool are converted into dates", but it looks like it affects the Query tool as well.  This was fixed in version 2.7 of the HTML5 viewer, so if you're able to update that should resolve the issue.  I've confirmed it's working properly on newer versions on my end.
