Login on Mobile Device
I'm using the latest 2.8.2 HTML5 viewer. I have both Windows Integrated and Geocortex Identity Server logins. When my users are on their mobile devices, I would like all of them to be able to log in. Obviously Geocortex Identities can just sign in. At one point, I was able to see the "choose a security provider" menu where I could choose between Geocortex or Windows and I could manually type in my Windows credentials to get into the app. However, now it's going directly to the login screen for Geocortex Identities. Is there a way to not make that come up by default? I want users to have to choose which to use so Windows users can sign in too.

Hi,
The Essentials Security endpoint remembers the selection you made when you chose a provider to sign in with. You should be able to get the selection to appear by clearing your browser cache on the mobile device.

Thanks so much Mike! I got it to work on my phone. I'll have to write up a guide for my users on clearing their cache so they don't get confused too. 0 -
I thought I read in a post somewhere that you can set the security provider to use with the viewer URL. That may be an option, too. 0 -
Dan, are you referring to adding "signIn?token_type=fragment&idp_name=AD+AUTHORITY" to the URL? I use that to skip to the security provider picker screen so the site doesn't double load, however on my phone, it appears to still cache my choice instead of giving me the option to select which security provider I want to use. 0 -
