Signing Out User with Denied Access Does not Go to the Defined Landing Page

Hi,

I've got a map viewer secured by Windows Integrated and have configured a Sign Out - Landing Page (for this example, I've used google.com). When a user with Deny Acces spermission to the whole site signs in, I get the Access Denied page and the Sign out button at the top right corner of the map viewer. When expanding that button, it's showing a balnk for the signed in user.

When I click Sign out, I'm expecting a redirect to the configured landing page (google.com). However when I click Sign out, it keeps looping to the same map viewer and the Access is Denied page instead of google.com.

If I enabled anonymous access to the site, sign in with the same denied account and click sign out, It's returning to the map viewer using anonymous access and not getting redirected to the landing page.

Is this the default behaviour with this configuration or should I need to manually configure a file somewhere outside the manager?

HI Noel,

The sign out landing page only works with an HTTPS viewer. Is your viewer using HTTPS?

Hi Danny, Yes. The viewer is through https. One other thought is that even if I haven't configured a sign-out landing page, the behavior of the sign-out is reloading the original viewer rather than a page indicating user had signed out rather than reloading the original viewer.

Hi Noel,

That's expected, if you don't allow anonymous access. The "user has signed out" page is only displayed when anonymous access is enabled.

That being said, if you are using HTTPS for the viewer, your sign out landing page should be honoured. I would suggest opening a support case so we can help you investigate directly, issues like this can be tricky to troubleshoot on the forums.
