Workflow form item group visible when for multiple combobox selections?

Is it possible to have a form display a group based on more than one possible combobox selection?  It looks like it works only if there is a selection regardless of what the selection is.

  Hi Marc,

   

  Perhaps you could provide us with more information or a screenshot to show how your combobox and group are configured and what condition you want to use?

   

  It sounds like you might have multiple comboboxes and you're hoping to get a group to display based on values from both of them.  If that's the case, my recommendation would be to nest new "Group" form items for each condition that you need to be fufilled.  Then you would put the content that you want to become visible in the deepest "Group".

  I would like to do this for multple selections within one combobox myself, which is how I interpret Marc's question as well.  Is there a way to do this?  Or to show a group when a combobox is NOT some value?

  Hi Zack, 

   

  I did some digging and found the following description for how the "Visible When" property works:

   

  "The value is a case sensitive string match. If the value is not specified it defaults to "true" so that you don't need to set it for CheckBoxes and RadioButtons (which have Boolean results)."

   

  Given the description, it wouldn't be possible to have a group's visibility based on more than one value, or based on it not being a particular value.  You might be interested in checking out Geocortex Workflow 5 (https://communities.geocortex.com/workflow/s) , which has more options for making forms dyamic.  It could handle this type of dynamic visibility.  You could also post in the Ideas section (https://support.geocortex.com/GSCIdeas?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&filter=1&categ=all&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials&page=1)  and request that more flexible condition options for "Visible When" are provided.  Then other users could vote to have that feature implemented.
