Pass legend to report template

Dear All , 

We are trying to create report with map , legend and related data table , we are using report template with sub report , everything working fine except passing legend to the report , can you please help this this regard

  Hi Khalid, 

   

  Can you clarify the issue you are having with the legend? 

   

  There is a very good sample template that is provided in the Sample Sites folder found in your installation of Essentials Manager: C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Sample Sites\Resources\PrintTemplates

   

  You should be able to find everything you need in that template.

  Thanks Ali ,

   

  When we are using print map activity the legend passed directoly to the report but when we use print template activity the legend is not passed to the report

  Same issue here- any idea how to pass legend through via template report?

  I eventually got it working, but I wish it was more intiutive. Hopefully this helps, let me know if you have questions.

   

  - Added Print Template to site (MapandLegend.rpx, default output BMP). Has a DataField = _MainMap area and a _Legend area (Tag = Legend.rpx)

   

  - Added Workflow to site 

   

       - Has a PrintMap Activity (pointed to MapandLegend.rpx on the site) with extent as a buffer of my chosen feature, then put that result URL into DownloadImage activity, put that result (bitmaplegend) into Assign: dictionary("_input") = bitmaplegend

   

       - Use TemplateReport activity to generate full Report.rpx that has an image area with DataField = _input (there are other threads that go over how to construct the DataTable/DataSets for this activity)

  Hi Chelsea Rozek ,

   

  Thanks for providing this solution , Looks to be the only solution , how about the performance calling a report to generate image then calling template , can you please share the workflow to test it .
