Run Multiple Reports

Is it possible to run multiple reports and have the PDF download links appear in the workflow with specific link text?

 

We're using the sample mailing label workflow to generate labels for the selected parcels, but we'd also like to run the same report on address points. Ideally this would generate two download links, one called "Owner Address Labels" and one called "Situs Address Labels".

 

Is it possible for this to work, and should the two queries be run in parallel or sequentially?

  Yes this is possible. They will run sequentially.

  Is there a way to get both report results in the same container? I run the report with the "Show Open Dialog" set to False. Then I take the report URL and use Display Hyperlink to show a link to the report, using the "Default" container. The problem is that after the first report is done it displays the first hyperlink, but also shows a 'Close' button that must be clicked before the second report runs.

  To answer my own question, instead of running Display Hyperlink, I'm instead opening a form with two Hyperlinks in it, and then using the runtime modifications to change the target URLs to the outputs from the reports.

  Or you can use activiety merge PDFs to combine the two pdf into one .
