Any way to roll back a viewer version?

I have GVH HTML5 2.9 installed and because of errors, I need to have it rolled back to 2.8.1. Any way to do this? Or do I have to reinstall my template? and does this break my current 2.9 viewer deployments.

  Hi,

   

  Unfortunately, the viewer upgrade deployment process changes too much. You'd have to deploy the 2.8.1 viewer and redo your viewer deployments. 

   

  What errors are you having with the 2.9 release? I'd suggest opening a support ticket so we can try and fix it rather than rolling back.

  I would be interested in hearing what issues you're having with 2.9 - I was thinking about upgrading, but not if there are issues that would mess up my site...

  The answer is kind of intertwined. Basically, the new offline procedure that lets you define the area to take offline is where the problem is. Our iPad users are running iOS 10.3.3. There is a defect in GMAF 2.3 that will give an error 'This operation can only be performed in the native client'. When rolling back to 2.2.1, the same error pops up with GVH 2.9.

   

  I don't see these problems with iOS 10.3.2.

   

  Best working scenario so far is GMAF 2.2.1, GVH 2.8.2. The GE version doesn't seem to matter (running 4.8.0)
