Higher Version of ActiveReports

The current vesion of ActiveReports that is installed with GE to design reports is 5.3.1436.2, this version includes a lot of limitations, like parametrized charts, such kind of charts does not work with this version. However, it works well with ActiveReports 11.

 

Is there a way to make GE run 11 version instead of the current old version installed with it?

  Hi Hani,

   

  Unfortunately, no. The newer versions of ActiveReports are considerably different and supporting them would require a serious rewrite of the existing printing and reporting code. Updating our printing and reporting is definitely something we've been wanting to do, but it's not on the current development schedule.
