GVH 2.9 GE 4.8 Data Link Not Showing in Viewer

Although the newly created data link retrieves data from it's Essentials rest point, no related records appear in the viewer.

 

Is there something new in these latest versions that needs to be turned on?

  Hi Walter, 

   

  I beleive we resolved this through a support case, so I'm just posting for the benefit of any future readers that find this topic by searching.  When you make a data link on a table that contains spatial data, and include the SHAPE field in the data link, it behaves this way.  The REST endpoint is able to show the data from the data link, but the viewer is not.  The solution is to edit the data link and make sure that the SHAPE field is excluded.
