instant search continues to spin?

We have noticed that Instant Search, while working well as far as speed and results, has a quirk that is occasionally confusing to users. 

 

Even one it is done retreiving results, the little 3-bar animation next to 'Seach Results:' at the top of the results panel is still moving, indicating that it's not done 'working'. 

 

Anyone else sen this behavior?  We started seeing it I believe around GE 4.5 (still seeing it in 4.8).  Is this by design?

 

Using GVH - versions 2.6-newest have all shown this issue.

  I've been dealing with the same thing for several versions now. I've never found a solution even after opening a support case. I'd love to find a solution too!

  Hi,

   

  Instant Search issues are tricky to troubleshoot. I'd recommend opening a support ticket and attaching your Instant.Search.Scanner.log file. 

   

  Default Location:

   

  C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core\Data\Logs
