Manager Loads But Site Throws 403 Error

We are installing Geortex Essentials 4.8.1 on a new server as we are swapping out older servers. I can get Essentials Manager to fire up and I can create a site and a viewer for that site. When I try to access the HTML5 2.9 viewer, I get a 403 forbidden error.

 

I've checked all the folder permissions and IIS settings all appears correct. Is there anything else I should be focused on?

  We've narrowed it down that we cannot access the 'HTML5Viewer' virtual directory. We can access everything else from the site.

  Solved: We had the HTML5 Virtual directory assigned to an invalid AppPool in IIS.
