Export Drawings to Shapefile

Is there a way to export drawings to a shapefile that aren't in the default graphics / drawing layer?

 

I have a graphic that is created from a workflow that shows drainage paths and I would like to be able to download the resulting graphic. However; you aren't able to edit, clear, erase, or export the drawing because in the workflow you have to assign the "Graphics Layer Id" in the "UpdateGraphicsLayer" activity (I'm not sure if there's an id for the default graphic layer).

 

So is there a way to assign the result to the default graphics layer? Why can't you just assign the "Graphic Layer ID" in the command parameter for the ExportMarkupLayer command so if it's blank it just uses the default graphic layer but still allows you to use it for graphics generated from workflows?

  The ID for the default graphic layer is 'Drawings'.

  That worked! Only issue I have now is that the workflow doesn't activate the Export Drawings button or any of the Edit, Erase, or Clear buttons. If I make a random point somewhere, it activates them, so it's not too bad.
