Display the Folder in the print legend
Hi,

Is it possible to display the layers' folder in the legend of the printed map?
Here is my layer content:

Here is the legend in the printed map:

So I want to be able to distinguish between Sanitation and Biotoxin layers (without having to prefix each layer.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric,
I added a quick transformer workflow to one of my print templates in order to check what data is sent to the legend.
_img_ alt="workflow to capture field names available in the legend" src="https://latitudegeo--c.na53.content.force.com/servlet/rtaImage?eid=907f2000000fyPI&feoid=Body&refid=0EMf2000000kAQa" _/_img_
The resulting list of fields is:
_LayerName, _LayerSymbol, _CategoryName, _CategorySymbol, _BigLayerSymbol
(all of which are already used by the legend)
Since the folder data isn't sent to the template at all, we would have to find a way to add it ourselves and rewrite some of the legend scripting to get it in there, which doesn't seem like a very practical solution. I think the print legend is intended to mirror the viewer legend rather than the viewer layer list, but I would still recommend posting an Idea (https://support.geocortex.com/GSCIdeas?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&filter=1&categ=all&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials&page=1) for this so that others can vote to have the option implemented. Providing options to add more organization is usually a good idea.
Hope that helps!
