Create/Edit Layer Query

When adding a query to a layer in GVH manager (using latest version) you can add conditions ok but there is no option to specify the map area ie ALL or Current Extent. Now when you launch the site and open your saved queries (using ListQueries command) and select your query you can "change" the map extent but if you want to save the edit it is not allowed.  I understand this edit would be global so the reason it is not allowed (some users may not want the change).  The primary issue for me however is not being able to specify the map extent when creating/saving the query in manager - why can we not have the map extent specified when creating the query for the layer? Idk maybe I missed something...

  Hi Terry, 

  I believe this is by design. Having the end user decide if they would like to use the full extent or current extent is in control of the user. By default it is set to be the full extent. 

  I would suggest you place this idea in the idea section anf vote for it if you would like to see this feature in a future relase.
