Duplicate dropdown list entries in Query Tool for Domain associated with Subtype

Hi, 

 

When I use the Query Tool I expect that the dropdown list of possible values for e.g., ASSET_CLASS_ID would be a distinct list that is ordered alphabetically, but the list I am getting has duplicated values [see screenshot attached]. 

 

 

Is it possible to ensure that the dropdown list has unique values without duplicates? 

 

The ASSET_CLASS_ID is populated with values based on a Domain that is linked to a Subtype belonging to ASSET_TYPE_ID -- not sure if that is relevant or not.

  Hi Brad, 

   

  I think that last sentence is the key.  I was able to reproduce the issue, but only when I didn't apply the domain to the field itself and instead applied it only from the subtypes.  When I applied the domain to the field at the time of the field's creation, and then also applied it from the subtypes, the dropdown list didn't have the duplicates.  If its possible to use this configuration for your data, then that should fix the issue.  If not, its been filed as GVH-16796, and would need a fix in a future release.
