Datepicker date format

I have a displayform with a DatePicker that has 'Include Time Picker': False, 'Date Format': Short and 'Initial Date': Use current date.

 

When the displayform opens, the date shows as '21 aug. 2017 00:00'. On opening the calendar, this changes to '21-08-2017' (you can see it flash just before the calendar covers the textbox).

 

How can I set the date format to '21-08-2017' initially?

  Another thing I noticed is that initially I can type a date, but after opening and closing the calendar, the textbox is read-only.

  Hi Berend,

   

  There are some known issues regarding date pickers that likely correspond to your descriptions here: 

   

  GVH-16020: DisplayForm Date Picker's "Date Format" setting has no effect on the initial date displayed (the '21 aug. 2017 00:00' format is always used initially until after the calendar widget is used)

   

  GVH-16022: Format for entering date in workflow Date Picker is inconsistent (After using the calendar widget, you may be able to type in dates like '12-12-12'.  But if you try to type using the format that matches the existing text it may fail to update)

   

  Let us know whether or not that matches what you're seeing.
