How to set default Identity Server for a site

Hi,

 

In our instance of Essentials, we have multiple sites and most of them are configured to use two possible Identity Server to sign in.

 

But now we have a new site that uses Windows Integrated, yet it is the only one that has permission for it. I would like to :

 

1. Prevent the other sites' sign-in page from viewer the third option now available; and

 

2. When user open the new site, be sent directly to authenticate with Windows Integrated and not be promted to choose an Identifying method.

 

I know there's a way to do #2, but I don't think there is for #1 (hope I'm wrong).

  Hi Denis,

   

  Your comment above is certainly the correct solution to #2.

   

  For #1, unfortunately, there is not currently a way to offer a subset of available identity providers to different viewers, or sites, within the same instance of Essentials. To achieve this, you would need to setup a separate instance of Essentials and only enable the desired subset of identity providers.  

   

  In summary, I do see the merit in what you're trying to achieve, and it's possible other users would like to see this functionality as well. You could post it in the Ideas section (available from the menu at the top of this page) and it may be considered for future development.
