Upload Temporary File with Workflow
I've developed a workflow that produces a .KML file, as a temporary file on the server, and I would like to have the workflow upload the file to the user's map. Is it possible to upload a file to the map using a external command activity, skip the "Add Data To Map" prompt that displays with the UploadData command, and begin with the "Layer Details" prompt?
Also, I'm having issues passing the file location (URL of the temporary file) as a parameter to the command. I haven't been able to find examples of this or clear documentation on this command. Is it possible to use the URL with the UploadData command?

Hi Jared,
I know you've been in contact with us for this one, so I'm just posting for the benefit of future readers-
The UploadData command takes an UploadDataProcess object for it's command parameter- see https://docs.geocortex.com/essentials/gvh/latest/commands-help/#/commands/Upload Data/UploadData. Unfortunately, this object is part of a non-external module, so it's not currently on the public documentation and it's not something that we can build in a workflow.

Could someone send a reminder to the documention staff to remove or edit the sentance "Optional UploadDataProcess object which can be used to skip dialogs or resume an in-progress upload data process." from here:

Hi Mike,
Please use the "Provide feedback..." icon on the top right corner of a documentation page that you feel needs updating or correcting. This feedback goes directly to the documentation folks.

Hi again Mike,
My comment is only applicable to the non-developer documentation. I will file a bug for the issue you reported.
