Run Workflow from Data in Layer Catalog

Good Afternoon! I have a Web Map that references data from a Layer Catalog. Is it possible to run a workflow in the Web Map on the data that is being pulled from the Layer Catalog? The workflow is set up to run from a link in the map tip that is configured in the Layer Catalog, and the workflow is saved in the Web Map. I am getting an error right off the bat that states "There was a workflow error running activity: Unable to get property 'support'DynamicLayer' of undefined or null reference."
