refresh features in results panel
Happy Friday Y'all!

I have an application for Police that they use in their vehicles. There is a toggle (which is a workflow) on the home panel that essentially toggles/selects all the features in active 911 dispatch layer and displays the results. The goal is that they could click on one of these records to zoom to a calls vs. having to enter a search address.
The dispatch call layer is set to refresh every minute or so. This refreshes on the map as expected. Image 1 shows the home panel and a bit of the map.

They click "List Active Dispatch Calls" to see the following:

Again, this is a workflow to display the results. The problem is that if the officer leaves the results panel visible and the map refreshes with new dispatch calls, the results panel does not refresh.
Is there an easy way to make the results refresh when the layer is refreshed on the map?
Thanks,
Carmen

I haven't tried this before, but what about having a timed delay and loop in the workflow to make it auto-refresh once it's been launched? I honestly don't know how you'd end the workflow, but maybe there's a way you could do it with a listening event or something. 0 -
Hi Carmen,
You will need to somehow envoke the refresh. You could definalty try the suggestion that John made.
I am not aware of any other way to acomplish this other than to re-run the workflow.
Have you looked into our Active Operating Picture (AOP) solution? This might be the answer to all your problems. Here is our documenation about it: https://docs.geocortex.com/aop/2.0/help/Default.htm#aop/help/geocortex-aop.htm#Introduction_to_the_Active_Operating_Picture_Extension_for_Geocortex_Essentia...%3FTocPath%3DIntroduction%2520to%2520the%2520Active%2520Operating%2520Picture%2520Extension%2520for%2520Geocortex%2520Essentials%2520(AOP)%7C_____0
Here is a little snipit of what it does: designed to provide simultaneous awareness and fast communication between incident commanders and field teams dealing with life-threatening events. AOP provides immediate, accurate, real-time data and the means to quickly communicate situation updates through a common operating view using tablets and phones. Alerts and communication channels allow collaboration between multiple team members in multiple locations. Speedy access to fast-changing information makes it possible for incident commanders to plan and coordinate with field responders so that they can manage incidents in order to protect lives and property.

Ali,
thanks. We know about the AOP but our police chief wanted Alastar. Alastar has a limited number of logins and isn't really suited for "in-car use for everyday activities". The above app is mainly for use in their vehicles on MDTs for every day use. A mini-situational awareness app that anyone in Police can access.
I have been trying to get back to this specific task and try John's suggestion but keep getting interrupted by other deadlines. I am sure everyone else knows how that is!
