Exclude GeoTiff from export format?

I want to exclude the GeoTIFF export format option from the Export Map dialog.  Is there any way to do this?

  I don't think there's a way to do it with the built in tool, but you can control the output format using a workflow and the ExportMap activity. If your users need to choose the output format, you could also add a Display Form before with a dropdown of just the formats you want people to be able to export.

  While this is not possible with out-of-the-box functionality, John's comment above is a good suggestion to improve the user experience towards what you are seeking. Alternatively, this may be possible with custom code if you contact support or professional services.

  Thanks guys,

   

  Just a thought.  Maybe there SHOULD be a way to configure this going forward.

   

  This is because some "maps" are more cartooney and, therefore, do not represent coordinate space in any meaningful way.  For this kind of map, a GeoTIFF really makes no sense.

   

  Should I add it to the ideas section?
