Stream Service Shows Fleet in GeoCortex Essentials Manager but no on published map
In GCE Manager I added a Map Service to NetworkFleet from Verizon, a streaming service on my ArcGIS Server. After adding the streaming service I can see in real time the updates in the preview offered in GCE Manager. However, when I save the site and publish the layer never shows anything in my published map viewer. Any ideas on what could be wrong?
I was unsuccessful so far in finding a "how to" for adding a streaming service layer using GCE so it is quite possible the setup is not correct.

This happens to me sometimes as well. I can see it in the preview but not in the map. (however I have not used a streaming service)
My issue has always been in the LAYER THEMES. If you've added you service to a pre-existing theme I find sometimes it will not show on the map. Try creating a new Layer Theme and adding your service to it to see what happens. Also a good test is to create a new blank Site, add your service and see if its visible on the published map. If it works on your test site you'll know there is something up with your production setup.0 -
After further investigation it is because the ws-stream was referencing a server name that was an internal address and our map is accessed from outside our network. The resolved name needs to be an external dns server name. 0 -
Updating....used ArcGIS Server Admin https://yourarcgisserver.com:6443/arcgis/admin
Added a property by navigating to System => Properties
Added WebSocketContextURL : wss://yourserver.com:6143
** your server name and ports may be different0
