Permanently deleted user

I have a feature service connected to an oracle database table with mandatory fields. When I add a new feature in Geocortex I can save this feature without the mandatory fields filled in. In the database a space is filled in the fields. Is this normal behaviour? Seems possible users will forget to fill in certain fields without noticing or without getting an error.

  Hi Sebastiaan,

   

  Same behaviour here. Additionally attributes associated to domain values don’t force the user to insert a value within the domain… Not sure if it is expected behaviour but we experience the same thing.

  Hi Sebastian,

   

  Can you tell us a bit more about your configuration-

  • When you say 'mandatory', is this enforced by the oracle database, the field properties from the feature service, or both?
  • Does this field use domains?

  We do have an issue affecting non-nullable (per ArcGIS Server field configration) domain fields.
