ArcGIS Identity Setup does not complete

I'm trying to run the ArcGIS Identity Setup, but it takes far longer than a few minutes before it does nothing.

 

I let it go for varying lengths of time, up to several hours, but always ultimately had to click Skip ArcGIS Identity Setup. I've uninstalled and re-installed Analytics several times with no change to this behaviour. I am becoming very frustrated by it.

 

The suggestion to restart Analytics is very unclear, because I do not know how to do that aside from rebooting. I've done that twice today but it made no difference. So it looks like anyone can use Geocortex Analytics now, as it warns me. Can someone help, please? This is 1.4

  Hi Justin,

   

  When we see issues like this, it's most often browser security, proxies or firewalls. I recommend checking your Internet Options and Windows Firewall settings. Have you configured your Analytics Access app in AGOL or Portal? Where does the setup tool "do nothing"?
