Legend not showing in print template for user added shapefile layers

I am using GE 4.9.1 and HTML Viewer 2.10.1

 

When I add custom layers from shapefile in the viewer, it is not shown in the legend in print template. Can anybody help in fixig this.

  With the option of saving projects, and saving these files along with it, it hardly seems a design aspect.

  I've recently had users request the same funcitonality and am not finding anything in the documentation.  Will someone from Latitude confirm this is by design?  Thanks!

  I can confirm that this is by design and it is being tracked as an improvement request under GVH-11093.

   

  I can also confirm that is likely not to be added to GE/GVH but if added, will be part of the new "Printing 5" product.  Printing 5, when released, will be part of Essentials.
