Can time slider use for data link also?

I have a feature layer and add a data link from database.  The linked table contains daily records for each feature in the feature layer.  I want to use time slider to limit the return daily records from the linked table.  How can I do that?  For example if I want to see only last 30 days of daily balance (data link) for a selected point (feature layer), can I use time slider to limit the record for the last 30 days?

  I know we worked on this question already, so I'm just answering here for the sake of future readers-

   

  The time slider only interacts directly with services/layers on the site, and can't filter using time data contained in data links.  It''s possible to create a workflow that will let you input a date/time, check one or more external data sources (data links), and select that data in the viewer or apply a filter to the related layer(s) accordingly.  But this isn't practical for every viewer/application.
