Add export to shapefile as button on toolbar
Hi there,
I would like to add the export to Shapefile as a button on my toolbar. I've added the following (see pic) using the logic from the context menu page, however the button is greyed out / inactive on the toolbar. It works fine from the ResultsListAction menu. Can anyone point in the right direction on how to add the Export To Shapefile function as a button?
thank you :)

I don't think that the button on the toolbar is going to work with the context param, could be mistaken though. I suspect, but do knot know, that the in order to get at the context you want you'll need to to hit this command from the results menu. 0 -
Thank you Zack. I was thinking it might be to do with the context. I tried removing the context param but that didn't work either. Its a bugger because we have an export to CAD button using workflow on the toolbar so the user now has two different locations for downloading data. Thanks for your advice :) 0 -
I'd recommend setting up a workflow based on your CAD one, which should be a straightforward conversion. 0 -
Thanks Zack. Yes that seems to be my only option. Its not ideal as I need to predefine the layers for the user to download in the geoprocessing task. I was hoping to leverage the ability of the Export to Shapefile button to download any identifiable layer within my viewer. 0
