Identifiable Layers

I have seen the following in the Code Gallery and it worked almost perfect:

While the identify command will honor what I have set through code, the draw back is the "Identifiable Layers" panel still has everything selected.  So once I open the panel everything is set to "identifiable".  Does anyone have a work around for this?

  Hi Bryan, 

   

  We have this issue filed as a bug, id #21319.  We haven't found any workarounds yet, it looks like something that would need to be fixed in a future release.
